About us
The Automotive Human Resource Sector Council is an organization designed to provide leadership in professionalizing human resource management for Nova Scotia's automotive service and repair industry. The Sector Council is an industry -driven, not-for-profit organization.
Through the Sector Council model, we are able to bridge the Automotive Service & Repair Industry with Government, the Community College /University network, community groups, career practitioners and industry stakeholders to work together in addressing industry’s labour market issues.
Our Mandate
To create a stable, mobile and skilled labour force for the automotive industry in Nova Scotia. We are committed to working with Industry, industry associations and other interested partners to identify changing human resource labour issues, propose recommendations and develop solutions that will help build a stronger automotive service and repair labour market.
